Herbie Hancock
Herbie Hancock is one of the defining pianists in jazz, a player whose career runs from Miles Davis's second great quintet through Head Hunters and into decades of restless genre crossing. He helped push jazz into funk and fusion territory in the 1970s and has kept exploring since, moving between acoustic jazz, electronic experiments, and pop collaborations without settling into any one lane.
He brings that range to Colorado with dates at Strings Music Pavilion and Chautauqua Auditorium, two rooms well suited to an artist who has spent a lifetime treating the piano as a starting point rather than a limit.
