Elder
Elder started out in doom and stoner metal but pushed well past it, working long, winding songs into something closer to psychedelic and space rock. The riffs are still heavy, but they stretch out and drift, more krautrock and prog than sludge at this point.
They've built a strong following on the strength of that evolution, and they bring the sound to The Federal Theatre for a Colorado date.
