Eivor

Eivor is a singer from the Faroe Islands who has built a wide following on the strength of a voice that moves easily between folk tradition and something more atmospheric and modern. Her music draws on Nordic and Celtic roots, medieval melody, and ambient textures, often landing somewhere between a lullaby and a chant. She has also lent her voice to film and television work, which introduced her to plenty of listeners who came for a soundtrack and stayed for the artist.
