Eddie 9V

Eddie 9V is the project of Atlanta-based blues artist Brooks Mason, known for a sound that pulls from vintage soul as much as blues. His records lean into horns, grit, and a throwback feel that owes more to Stax and Muscle Shoals than modern blues rock. He has built a following of over 30,000 on Spotify without much crossover noise, which says something about the strength of the songs themselves.

He has a Colorado date coming up at Telluride Town Park, a good setting for a band built on soul and horn-driven blues.
