Don Was and the Pan-Detroit Ensemble
Don Was is a producer and bassist best known for his long run leading Was (Not Was) and for producing artists across genres, along with years spent as president of Blue Note Records. The Pan-Detroit Ensemble is a project that draws on his Detroit roots, pulling together musicians for a set built around that city's deep well of soul, funk, and jazz.
The group has a Colorado date coming up at Telluride Town Park.
