Dinosaur Jr.

Dinosaur Jr. built their sound on the collision of J Mascis's guitar squall and hooks that stick despite all the noise. Coming out of the 80s underground, they helped define a strain of alternative rock that made distortion feel melodic, pairing feedback and volume with genuine pop songwriting. That combination still marks them as one of the more influential guitar bands to come out of that era.

They bring that wall of sound to the Ogden Theatre for an upcoming Colorado date, a chance to hear those songs played at the volume they were built for.
