Deafheaven built their name by smashing black metal shrieks and blast beats into shoegaze melody, a mix that made 2013's Sunbather a genre touchstone and split metal purists right down the middle. They've kept pushing that fusion further over the years, layering in post-rock swells and cleaner vocals without losing the intensity that started it all.

They bring that sound to the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver for their next Colorado stop.
