Bass Drum of Death
Bass Drum of Death is the project of John Barrett, a Mississippi-born garage punk act that built its name on fuzzed-out riffs and songs that rarely overstay their welcome. The sound sits somewhere between surf rock and garage revival, loud and lo-fi in the best sense, indebted to bands like the Black Lips and Jay Reatard but with its own scrappy hooks.
